I got a chance at Zul’Aman to day with the guild Relentless as Rasbora.  With about 4 wipes we finale took Nalorakk down.  The only hard part was switching between tanks and watching mana use.  Getting to the boss was not hard as there was only three pulls.

This is pretty simple fight.  Its along endurance fight for healers so I suggest a large mana pool and any mana regen consumables you can get.  I used about 3 Super Mana pots for this fight, and had almost 2 times to use shadow fiend.  Two tanks were used to transition between Bear and Troll form.  Both of which give a different damage over time effect to the tank hence one of the reasons for using 2 different tanks.  Since we had a mage we used  Amplify magic since this was a non-magical fight.

 It appears this boss only drops badge, but perhaps he drops 2 if you beat the timer.

I have to say that I am rather happy that I do not have to go through the rigourous process of yet another chain to get attune to be able to do a major instance. Granted anyone could do it, but I would recommend atleast 1/4th epic gear and 3/4th blue gear. If you have green gear you might want to reconsider going. At this point I fall under the 1/4th point on Rasbora, hopefully I can get a few more Karazhan run for some better gear. I could always get another epic piece by crafting my primal moon cloth robe.

The best I advice I can give anyone upon entering is not to jump down the long tunnel. Unless of coarse you don’t mind the long fall that comes with 10% durabilty lose when you die, or your pally / priest that can time your decent just right. In the case of a priest proable have 2 – 3 light feathers ready. I tried to levitate down, however the elevator caught me on the way up. A few others in the group got stuck and had to be summoned. Then their were the indviduals that were tricked into jumping down >.>.

So far we have only cleared to the first boss Hydross the Unstable. The trick to him is to have a nature resist tank and a frost resist trank. They have to alternate him from the center of his area to the part near where you get on his platform. So far we have healing down. But unfortunatly we do not seem to have dps coordinated between killing him and killing the adds.

Well I did not leave empty handed thats for sure. After all I have another mace. I don’t seem to hold onto maces very long it seems. Light’s Justice dropped off the Prince. Not sure why but the two pallys in the group decided to pass just because the mace had spirit. I would have personaly passed (even though I am a greedy bastard) I can’t wait to get an enchant on it. So much Primal Water to farm >.<

I was not looking forward to doing Terestian Illhoof as the last time I did it was rather healer intensive. But with 2 pallys it really helped esspecially when was being sacrficed he was able to bubble out.

We did a quick try of Night Bane but he whoomped on us. From what I was told I need fear ward to take him on.

So now I have gear to get enchanted and consumables to farm for next Sunday.

Midnight Mob decided that they needed to change groups around. I have to say that the change made things far smoother then before. So far only 3 wipes, 26 candles, and around 7 g in repairs. but we took out 5 bosses. I got 9 ghostly essences, around 40 g in gold, and 3 epics. One of which was from getting to revered so I have an even better healing ring, and at this point I have decided to incorporated it into my regular gear. From drops I got new healing gloves and dps bracers. Strangely the gloves make my fingers that stick out of the gloves do not match Rasbora’s blue skin.

For the Opera House event we got the wizard of oz. There was a bit of confusion on who to kill but other wise it went rather smoothly. The best strategy for this seems to be crowd control. I almost had a new healing trinket but I had passed after already getting 2 new pieces of gear. I could have had a third but I really do not want shadow damage gear.

We cleared up all the way to the Shadow of Aran I was the only death and got killed twice. I am defiantly looking forward to tomorrows run.

To day we took out the Big Bad Wolf. This time we only lost one person.

I also got a random drop that no one else wanted do now I have a more dps gear.

We got past the Curator after three wipes, after which we choose to pass all the other bosses and just do the Chess Event.

This is my first run with The Midnight Mob, their schedule seems a good fit for my current schedule. Plus I finale get to see things from the beginning. Unfortunately I find that I have more shackle duty then I usually like. So far I have gone through 3 stacks of candles. But I got 2 epics this night not sure what I will get tomorrow.

The first boss (Attumen the Huntsman) we wiped on about three times, first time I was confused on who I was supposed to heal. not exactly sure what happen the other 2 fights.

The second boss (Moroes) was a pain as I had to constantly shackle one of the mini bosses. It seemed we had crowd control issues here.

We got to the opera event, and we got the Big Bad Wolf. It seems the best strategy (in my opinion) is to tank the big bad wolf from the corner and range stay in the far opposite corner. If you get turned into Little Red Riding Hood you should stay close to the walls as you run around while healers keep spamming heal on you. Unfortunately we wiped 7 times before calling it a night and decided to try again tomorrow.

I have done this before as a priest, but the problem was when I did it the first time there was no clear plan.

This time around I was primarily healing on the mage tank. The mage tank stole some buff from one of the ogre’s that decreased the amount of damage amount of damage he took, which wore out every 30 seconds I think, so I had to over heal when this happen.

We had 3 wipes, one was because of bad luck by the mage taking 2 nasty crits after the buff faded. However as you can see below we did make it through.

Gruul, proved to be a problem as it seemed our dps was dying too fast. Tanking seemed to switch between two tanks. I had to make sure to move every time there was an avalanche.

We wiped probable 7 times before giving up. But we got pretty close to taking him out. But as you can see Gruul hits pretty dam hard.

We tried Aran after but still no luck. I tend to not survive most of the fights because I would get hit by one of his bolts , then get pelted by an arcane shot.

From what I hear he is supposed to be nerfed the next patch, so perhaps I will get a healing off hand soon.

The funny thing about this pic is that I was the last survivor and I was trying to get out or die. Your not supposed to moved during his flame attack so I jumped and ran all over the door way. I swear a for a whole minute was bouncing around not dying when the attack finale went off and sent me straight to the ceiling and one shoting me

I got a lucky invite for Karazhan. I have to say this time on Kran was easiser then the last time I was against him.

We took on the Prince, and the stratgy they had was rather sound. Basiclly all range classes followed the hunter around. I assume because of detect demons. I had turn the ability on myself to see where the infernals were. When ever an infernal dropped everyone moved to another location. The first 30% we had pretty much tone down the dps. It was not til I believe we hit 60% that we turn on the dps. We had 3 wipes before taking him out. The first was I beleive my fault as I had moved into a infernals hellfire when debuffed to 1 hit point.

The person who invited me (sorry for forgetting your name and I did not ask the guild whose run this was) felt bad because I did not get anything. But thats not exactly true, as the quest to kill the prince gave me a trinket with + 22 life and + 45 arcane resistance. Plus it gave me 3300 rep so now I have a new epic ring that supposed to be tweaked come the next patch. Which would be nice considering the ring in epic form is not really that much better then what I have now.

I did some more exployering there are so many rooms that seem to serve no purpose. Not to mention Eye of Kilrogg does not attract the attention of the flesh beasts in the room. I was practicaly on top of one and it did not bother with me.

Another run, if anything we got rep, and 2k away from a epic healing ring. Though looking at the stats it seems I would have to give up some mana regen, but then again I would have a bigger mana pool.

We did several tries of the shade of Aran. Which is a bit of a pain as a Priest as I hate the heal and run.

So far the best place to be healer wise is between Aran and the wall. Which gave me some room to see where the blizzard was. However I seem to have a mana issue. Perhaps I need some mana oil and other mana regenerating consumables. My greater resist arcane and ice potions really did not seem to make that much of a diffrence.

We also took on Rokad the Ravager, I am not exaxtly sure what it took to get him as took x amount of kills to get him. I am guessing the bosses are random as there is a 33% chance of getting one of three bosses. The nice thing seems like every spider I got to look at some nether web.

I have to also say I am rather happy to have spam sentry it has kept the spam wispers to a less noticable one liner of text.
