With Achievements in the expansion it would come no surprise to most that I would have the pet category on Rasbora, on my way to fill the gap in Ras’s collection of missing bind on equip pets, I was in Stormwind looking for lil Timmy, he sells the white kitten. Unfortunately he is a wandering vendor, has only one kitten, and only spawns for limited times a day. While looking for him at the back in of Stormwind, I see that Blizzard put up NPCs to tear down a back wall at the back of Stormwind to make a road to Stormwind Harbor.
I ended up buying the pet off Auction House for 20 gold. But I tend to wonder if Blizzard will do anything with other areas with large structures or that are locked off from people being able to get to. Stormwind has two areas that are locked off one of which is another prison, and the second is towards the south between Trade District and Old Town behind bars is a portal.
For Verdin my achievement will be would be exploration. After all Verdin was my first character with epic land as well as epic flight. Granted I was exploring long before I had a regular land mount. But there are some places you can not go without a mount. One of which is to reach a guy in Thandol Span, that wants you to deliver Ale to South Shore. Before the patch that allowed you to see quests on your map I had no idea he was there. Admittedly before the first expansion I had a lot of friends that had went too great lengths to get to spots that are almost impossible to get to. Such as Hyjal, behind AQ 20 / 40, and up on top of and around the mountains of Iron Forge. There is a lot of undeveloped areas on the map, Between Iron Forge and the Wet Lands there is a rather large stretch of forest. Behind AQ 20 / 40 there is a lot of structures. Noggein Flogger Elixir was nerfed with a cool down.
Its no secret that Blizzard has considering expanding Outlland and the Caverns of Time.I think it was after my first year playing World of Warcraft that I started reading some of the books based on the game the first one was Warcraft: Of Blood and Honor was about the exile of paladin Tirion Fordring, If you have done any questing in the Eastern Plaquelands you probable would have bumped into him. I expect we should have a lot more dealings with him in Wraith of the Lich King.
The second book I read was War of the Ancients. Kraus and Rohnin encountered an island on their way to Kalimdor. They choose to spend the night there only to encounter undead that were there long before the before the Burning Legion or the Scourge had entered Azeroth. After their first encounter they choose to not extend their stay and go forward to Kalimdor. There was not much else to the story of this island, but Kraus had intended to return one day to cleanse the island of this undead menace. Granted I lost the book and did not get the whole story. But I tend too find it hard to believe that the island played any further into the story. I tend to believe that the island they were at was the one near Tanaris. One can only wonder with Wraith of the Lich King or later expansion if we will see this island since it appears that there will be a lot of interaction with dragons. After all patch 2.4 introduced an island.
Speaking of dragons, the events of Black Wing Lair and Onyxia don’t appear to be over. Grinding rep with the Netherwing dragons proves that Deathwing is still in the picture. One can only wonder if he will play any part in Wraith of the Lich King.
As you will notice when you go to the world map in game of Azeroth there 2 islands and a set of islands that no one is able to travel to, but they are bigger then the Sunwell Isle. But Here is a map I found with even more islands.

Long before the expansion one, I had decided to explore around Karazhan. I don’t think most people take much notice of the crypt next to Karazhan. But one time while running through Dead Wind Pass I lagged over the side of a bridge and died. I thought this was a good time too explore the area. I am not sure why but I choose to look at the crypt first. Back then you could go through the bars when you were dead, but they seemed too have fixed that before the expansion. You would not believe how big it is inside of there. There are several large rooms . One of which appeared to be underwater with rather large hooks. It had a crypt feel to it. I was surprised that it was not part of Karazhan when I did finale get too see all of Karazhan. But who knows perhaps Medhiv locked some terrible secret down there that we will have to revisit.
I can see there being two different Dwarf instances Grim Batol and Uldum, after all we are going to see Iron Dwarfs. I have been waiting for Uldum since I was sent there after completing a quest from Uldaman. Interestingly Grim Batol is guarded by dragons.
I tend to wonder if the Graymane Wall may have something to do with Dararan. There is a rather large place of land behind the wall.

There is another undeveloped area on the left side of tirisfal glades. i really want to know what blizzard have in mind to open those areas to players.
The zone between Dun Morrog, Stormwind and Burning Steppes can be explored. There’s a way across Mountain. Wee keept this secret. But if you spend some time in it. You will find it for yourself. With this way, you reach the backward part of Stormwind.
There is a reason there are dragons around grim batol. Alextraza was once held captive by orcs in the wetlands. Rohnin and Krasus went to rescue her or something. You can read about it in “Day of the Dragon”, but the red dragons in the area are left from when the orcs bred the red dragons and used them to attack Lordaeron, since then the region of Kahz Modan has become much friendlier. As this is Probably what? a year or so after you originally posted, you probably already know that Uldum, the greymane wall(Gilneas behind it) and Grim Batol will be coming in the next expansion. The map that you found with all of the islands is pretty acurate, I was shocked when I saw the tiny islands southeast of tanaris in the south seas. You can visit these islands using farsee on a shaman. Not much other than some goblin buildings and a few pirates. The only problem with that map is that Kul Tiras isn’t in Barden bay, but to the west of Dun’morogh. The island that is supposed to be in Bardin Bay is Tol’barad.
I have found a glitch to get behind the Greymane Wall, and that Trisfall Glades one i think i found aswell.
